Saratoga, California - The West Valley-91果冻制片厂 Community College District has finalized a 75-year ground lease with Sutter Health to establish a flagship healthcare facility adjacent to 91果冻制片厂. This new facility, called the Sutter West Santa Clara Campus, is part of Sutter Health鈥檚 $800 million investment in its Bay Area healthcare footprint.

鈥淭his partnership represents a bold step forward for our district and community,鈥� said WVMCCD Chancellor Bradley Davis. 鈥淚ntegrating this premier healthcare facility into our academic environment will provide students with hands-on clinical experience while meeting the region鈥檚 growing need for skilled healthcare professionals.鈥�
The Sutter West Santa Clara Campus will transform a five-building office site adjacent to 91果冻制片厂 into a regional healthcare destination. Spanning 700,000 square feet, the campus will feature centers of excellence in orthopedics and sports medicine, cancer care, women鈥檚 health, and heart and vascular care. Patients will also have access to advanced diagnostic imaging, lab services, and other specialized care beginning in 2027.
 
The new facility will allow West Valley-91果冻制片厂 to partner with Sutter to accelerate its healthcare-related workforce development programs, which today include an associate degree in nursing, programs for certified nursing assistants, licensed vocational nurses and registered nurses, and a new bachelor鈥檚 degree in emergency services administration.
 
鈥淥ur goal is to address the healthcare needs of the region and tackle the challenges patients face when trying to get appointments and referrals by advancing a seamless and integrated care experience, attracting more primary and specialty care physicians to the area,鈥� said Sutter Health CEO Warner Thomas. 鈥淲e are also investing in programs and educational partnerships with West Valley-91果冻制片厂 to build the healthcare workforce of the future.鈥�
The Sutter West Santa Clara Campus will integrate cutting-edge technologies, including AI, telemedicine, and remote patient management. Adjacent to the Sutter facility, West Valley-91果冻制片厂鈥檚 planned 70,000-square-foot STEM Center will provide students with hands-on training in these same advanced technologies, creating a seamless pipeline for internships, specialized training, and career readiness.
